The Born's trail (Bornova pot) leads from the Ljubelj tunnel and border crossing towards a small mountain pass named Preval (which literally means mountain pass in Slovenian). It leads over scree and rocks on the slopes of Begujščica (2060m). Its best known feature is a 100m long tunnel carved in sheer rock. The trail offers great views of the Podljubelj valley and the surrounding mountains. It was built for baron Born in 1894 in order for him to get easier access to his hunting grounds.
