Kamniška Bistrica is the river that goes through the town called Kamnik, from which it got the first part of it's name. The second part of the name means something clear, in this case a clear river.
It features a rather picturesque source with a small lake and a deep, precipitous gorge. It's fun to visit at any time of the year.
