dinaric-karst
The dinaric landscapes of Slovenia are named after the Dinaric Alps, a mountain range separating the Balkan peninsula from the Adriatic sea, which are in turn named after mount Dinara. As these mountains are mostly made from limestone, the karst phenomena are very prominent here and give them the other part of their name. They mostly consist of hills and karst fields. They are roughly located in the southern part of Slovenia. The locations are ordered aproximately from west to east.
